Waqas' Bazm

Daastaan houn mein aik taveel magar,

داستان ہوں میں اک طویل مگر

tu jo sun lay toh mukhtasar bhi houn

تو جو سن لے تو مختصر بھی ہوں

Mine is a long (drawn out) story. But if you're willing to (truly) listen, then it may feel succinct.

Waqas' Bazm

Zara dariya ki tah tak toh pohanch jaanay ki himmat kar.

ذرا دریا کی تہہ تک تو پہنچ جانے کی ہمت کر

Toh phir ae doobnay walay, kinara hi kinara hai

تو پھر اے ڈوبنے والے، کنارہ ہی کنارہ ہے

Just build up the courage to reach the deep part of the river once. Then, o' drowning one, you'll find that everything feels (safe) like the shore.
